The truck has been down since May, we finally found the culprit. After chasing wires, grounds and a few salvos from the parts cannon we found the wire. Once it was repaired all of the issues were resolved......O2 sensor readings, low vacuum, rough idle, open loop, and probably more. We found a damaged part of a wire loom when we took off the vacuum pump. It was rubbing on a bracket and wore through/shorted wire. We've been in the same loom but not in that area . If I have any advice it is if it seems electrical (sudden shut down in my case) it probably is. The issue can be hard to find.....keep at it. I have attached a photo of the damaged area as well as the diagnosis/bill from the professionals. I also would like to thank all of you that contributed helpful information or just a few chuckles.
THANK YOU for the UPDATE !
Glad you finally found the issue !

So the engine needed was complete twaddle.
At a guess, I would hope any member on here from Illinois will NOT be using Bettenhausen as a dealer. Good call out.
