Hey guys my 1st post

Just picked up my new 14 RAM Big Horn and I want to get HIDs. I think most of the aftermarket lights look cheap and I wanted to get the Laramie lights. I talked to the service guys and going through the dealer cost $1700-$1800. Anyone know where I could get OEM lights and not break the bank.

Hey Rage. Welcome to RF.

I'd suggest talking to Jeremy over at Retro Shop as far as the HIDs are concerned. I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty positive he can get you the projector housing as well.

Hope this helps.

We've all shopped around for light upgrades. There is no cheap AND good-quality upgrade. Good lights are going to cost you.

Now, let's see some pics of the new ride. :)

The HIDs need special wiring harness to work right, or I'd recommend another site for some dirt cheap ones that have never failed me in my other vehicles. I'll be ordering my Hi/Lo/Fog from the Retro Shop, when I quoted them yesterday it was just about 500. All things considered that's not a bad price. Anyway, I'd strongly suggest emailing him with questions. He is, or was for me, quick to respond.

The cheapest way to get some projector housing looks like eBay, a quick search of 2014 Ram 1500 Projector appears to have full sets for under 500 but I'm not sure if those are the right items.

Anyway, once again hope this helps.

I think even the 675 that Jeremy charges is expensive just for lights, hopefully prices will fall the more these come out to the market or an aftermarket look-a-like comes out. I just cant swing that much for lights...
