I just changed the oil in my truck and put on a regular oil filter. I ordered a bosch oil filter that I want to put on instead of the other oil filter. Can I put the bosch oil filter on without changing the oil? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sure you can, you'll be about 1/4 qt low so just top it off and remember to oil the new filter when you put it up.

Since you already have the answer I just wanted to say those new Bosch filters look pretty legit. I have one ready to go in my truck too.

Like on my Dodge Cummins I change the bypass filter twice in 1 oil change cycle. So yes you can change filters without changing oil just make sure to top off with oil.
