Hey all. Been a while since I posted a pic of the rig but here we go. Anyways so over the past few weeks I have done some maintenance and replaced some faulty (old stereo) and some insufficient (suspension) components. First we will start with the stereo. My old head unit (ancient Clarion flip screen) must have turned on the amp and killed my battery as well as itself. So I bought then new Kenwood X794 and wow what a great deck. The ipod control and the sleek fit and finish of the deck face plate make for a nice package. Later that week I noticed I was starting to get bump steer pretty bad and the sloppy steering was starting to get on my nerves as I have put up with it long enough. So I ordered the BD diesel steering box brace and the BD diesel adjustable track bar. They are both high quality parts with great instructions and a relatively easy install provided you have some very big wrenches and a big torque wrench. The steering feels like its a new truck and the truck tracks much straighter with no bump steer. Definitely a mod any lifted HD truck needs. Sorry but I have no pics of those mods but seriously google that **** boys.

Anyways time for some pics. The new deck

And delivering a 1969 Camaro two weekends ago. Pulls really good with OD disabled so much so that we can pass damn near anyone. Bad news is I get 8 mpg but oh well just gas.

Enjoy ladies and gents.

Just gas is right. I got 9 pulling an enclosed trailer to FL...but running 80 and passing everyone probably attributed to that. Truck looks great!

Lookin real good Brett! I know what you mean about love / hate but most days Love.
I may have to tie down the Truck so it don't attack the Magnum when i bring it back from Lethbridge next week. My Ram is still no 1.

P.S. I spoke Mustangese very well for many years as well and certainly do not miss the Clutchitis in my leg!

Yeah I have clutchitis bad. Damn fox body cable clutches.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.

Red truck VA its a good hood fiberglass hood. The previous owner had it fitted and painted and completed the functional ram air system. Its a really cool piece and it gets a lot of looks.

Yeah Those are nice and Maybe the Good Hood ala Functional 2 Pce "Shaker" Version would suit ol Red just fine. Alot of prep time to get those hoods just right for paint though.

Yeah I sure am glad I was not the one who had to pay to get it fitted as who ever did it spent some big time and big coin on it.

Yeh, I asked around the big (and small) Body Shops and quickly decided it was way cheaper to do an SRT-10 than pay the ton of labour to get those right (its hit and miss with quality). So got a quote for about 710 bucks from Chrysler Depot outta Red-Deer.

Its on my 12 month PLan....LOL...anyhow your hood looks real cool!

Thanks man. Between that, my vinyl canopy window wraps and the fact that my truck has 247 *** km's the old girl draws some attention. Well the loud damn exhaust helps as well.
