Hey everyone! Just picked up my 2014 Black Ram 1500 Quad cab yesterday. Haven't put too many miles on it yet, but I love it! I've had all kinds of cars before from sports cars to SUV's but this is my first pickup and my first V8. So I wanted to see if anyone ha suggestions on first mods? I'm thinking of blacking it out so maybe plasti-dip the wheels. I also like fender flares and I'll need a tonneau cover at some point. So any suggestions for mods whether it's for looks or performance would be great. Thanks and I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome, Congratulations on the purchase (we came from the same backgrounds on cars into a first truck), and great to hear your loving the beast.
I bought a Bak F1 tonnoue cover from Morrie at Bak on here, couldn't be happier. Post up a pic when you get a chance, and cheers to making your new Ram unique and more fun to you!!!

Welcome. Mods are something that everyone has there own opinion. There are lots of great venders on here. Most common performance mods are intake, exhaust (mufflex makes direct bolt on Magnaflow mufflers), and tuner( common tuner is diablo with hemifever). Exterior appearance mods, headlights, blacking out ( mopar sells blacked out emblems) side steps, debadge, bed covers, rear level drop, front level kit. If you plan on hauling or towing a decent amount airlift 1000 air bags are a great addition to help the rear coils from sagging. There are tons of ideas here and I'm sure someone will come up with something that will catch your eye. Congrats on the new truck.

Welcome! He nailed it. There are a ton of mods that you can start with and it usually depends on what's important to you. Once you know what you want, we can definitely provide info, reviews and advice about which brands are best and how to install.

Thanks for the great welcome! I'm thinking I want to go for the look of the exterior first. I need bedliner and I'm thinking of plasti dipping the wheels and running boards. Not sure if I want to do the badges yet. I also want to look into fender flares. A guy up the street from me has them and they look awesome so I'm going to have to look to make friends and pick his brain. Thanks again for the ideas!
