Was the dial knob just a thing in the gassers? None of my Cummins trucks have ever had the dial. My Hemi did, though. It sucked.
That shift dial is one of the dumbest things they ever came up with. It is too close in size and position to the audio and HVAC controls and the knob is the same texture. I shouldn't have to take my eyes off the road to make sure I'm adjusting the fan speed and not putting it in reverse while moving. Was the dial knob just a thing in the gassers? I totally agree! I live on top of a hill with a 20ft raise in the driveway over 220ft. I can tell halfway up on snow if I need to switch to 4wd... Nothing like tuning the stereo up and sliding backwards down the hill! That shift dial is one of the dumbest things they ever came up with. A shower and clean underwear needed after that, I'm sure!!!I totally agree! I live on top of a hill with a 20ft raise in the driveway over 220ft. I can tell halfway up on snow if I need to switch to 4wd... Nothing like tuning the stereo up and sliding backwards down the hill!
Ditto...I don’t have any issues with the dial shifter, but Insure love pulling the floor lever for the 4wd in the Power Wagon!
The main reason I decided not to get a 75th anniversary Power Wagon when I ordered mine was I wanted the floor shifter...i was sad when my truck came with a button for 4wd. i wanted the floor shifter. but i guess thats what i get with having a place to sit my phone and console storage
