Been in a high speed chase or two or three and a couple of accidents. Don't need the warning, I just put the seatbelt on. Some of the other "helpful" features, full agreement.

I went in to the dealership service department with the following list of modifications and they said they wouldn't do any of it because it was safety related. Do you guys think an independent shop would do this stuff for me? If it's even possible. (yes I have OCD)

-Disable seat belt not plugged in chirp
-Disable exterior back light from turning on @unlock and @Lock
-Disable dashboard lights from turning on @unlock and @door open
-Disable tire pressure sensors
-Disable turn signal clicking noise
-Lower volume of the warning indicator beep (or disable entirely)
-Set console and dashboard screens to 'screen off' mode by default

Seatbelt chime delete here. This is what I did... and my video

For me backing up with the door open was a big driver for this... since without the seatbelt plugged in it will put the tranny in park if you try and open the door.

Ive went into settings to turn off the horn honking when locking the doors and it still honked when i locked them. No option to turn it off when unlocking that i see.
Am i doing it wrong?

There are numerous tweaks on our trucks, making it hard to keep up.

Your truck may have different setting options than mine, but my Uconnect 8.4C has the adjustments under Settings/Door & Locks.





Or, this CSM option can be set with AlfaOBD, at least on my truck.

What is that Alpha ODB? A tuner? And yes mine looks simliar though i have the 12" screen. Put it to ff and it still honks

Do you have the Lock settings options in your Uconnect configured the same as I've posted above?

AlfaOBD is a software App that allows us to tweak or customize the BCM and other modules on our trucks. The URL for the AlfaOBD thread is shown in my signature line.

Buy directly from this site, not from elsewhere, unless you want to spend more $.

Watched a video of a dude recaliberating and his ODB reader he used is $69...then need to buy cables and the app....geez.

If it beeps when you shut the door it is telling you something is amiss. Fob in vehicle, some door not fully closed, ignition not in off position, headlights or running lights still on, etc.

Once my Diesel build is done, Im deleting the entire OEM electrical system from my RAM ,

its super simple all you need is the Jackpot 2 HEMI EFI System and the Stand Alone MaxxECU for the 8 speed. and since I hate dodge so much im also removing the cab and using my 1961 IHC Cab on it

No more TIPM will be glorious. and lets not forget that it will only cost me 500$ a year thru Hagerty Classic car insurance as it will be registered as a 1961
