Ok, sold the '99 and I'm going to drive out to Spokane tomarrow afternoon to sign the paperwork and pick up my new truck, '13 1500 Outdoorsmen, 3.6/8spd, 8.4A, comfort group. Not as much as I wanted, the dealership with the Laramie decided to not play ball so we went this route. After trade and cash down I'm financing 21k. Plus it gives me some room to mod a bit. I'm already looking at throwing in the 10" Alpine sub I have in my garage, running boards, and maybe a set of stock 20s and keep the 17s with studded tires for winter....I dont know maybe...LOL :banana-mario::head3:

Its been a bit of a long distance deal, my Father in law has been working some stuff, he lives in the area. I love my Charger but a truck just makes more sense for us, consolidating vehicles, lowering insurance payments, and with a lower interest rate I'm ending up only paying $10 more a month then what I have now.

Congrats on your new truck! Your insurance statement really struck a chord with me. I just changed from progressive back to USAA. Let me tell you, I forgot why I left USAA in the first place. I mean damn. I went from $193/month on a 2006 Ford F-150 to $76/month on my 2013 RA 1500...

If you are paying a lot for insurance, don't settle, do your homework...

Congrats on the new pickup! I know what you mean about your first dealer not wanting to deal with you. Before I bought my 13 Sport I was trying to work a deal on a 13 Laramie, the dealer and I got stuck on price of theirs and my trade so I said fine, I kept looking and soon found my Sport, the day after I bought my Sport the first dealer sent me an e-mail and said she had a better deal for me, told her it was too late that I bought a Sport the day before - ya snooze ya lose!!!

Progressive is horriable, unless you get that nanny box so they can watch your driving. We use Metlife but we also have our Homeowners insurance though them as well so we get a bunch of discounts.

I have looked at USAA but they are much more expensive then our current carrier, 21st century.

They can be, I had them for a while when I was single with just an '84 F250 that was paid for and it was decent, they were actually about half as much as Progressive for the same truck. We got a better deal with MetLife for our vehicles and house. Plus the boat insurance, which ironicly enough is subbed out to Progressive! LOL

Just picked her up! Shinning like a new penny. The V6 is surprisingly peppy.
