I've had 5100 on my 1 ton and liked them but always like trying something different. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it bites you in the ass

I think these will be just as good if not better than the 5100. That is why I am trying them.

Now if UPS WOULD GET HERE !!!

Diamond. Sounds like generic crap that barely works! This should make a drastic improvement in your ride / handling.

I'm really pleased with my rear factory shocks when I have a load in the bed (like my ATV).
Beyond that, the fronts always seem like junk.

From what I gathered Black Diamond is a shock jeepers use ?

Would explain why the truck bounced around ... lol

With the upgraded shocks and SS paired with my rear hellwig it should ride allot better .

Time to go install ... shocks are here !

OK , on to the review and pics ..

First of all .. slick looking mono tube shock design . Rears mount like stock fronts mount cylinder up ... kinda weird but after looking around thats how most off road shocks like a fox ect mount . Kinda cool IMO .

Bushings ... they are very good polly bushings , not the normal feel to them , they feel 100x better .

Ride ... 110% better than the previous shock (duh)

Being a mono tube shock the only other mono tube shock I have used is Bilstein 5100's so I will compare the two as they are both the same design .

Price vs the Bilstein .. depending where you get them the same price .

Feel ... now I only put on 30 miles on these on smooth and bumpy roads , so far IMO they are very similar to the 5100's ... if I had to say better or worse I would say better. Basing that on the dampening and rebound characteristics of these M95's on my lifted truck they feel better than the 5100's .
Now this is just my opinion and I am a 4 time 5100 guy .. had them in 4 different trucks.

Would I recommend these ? Without a doubt .
As I put more miles on them I will update . But in all for the same price as a 5100 these hold up to and IMO exceed the 5100's

So on to the Skyjacker M95's ... nice silver tone to them , cool decal ... awesome performance on and off road for the 30 mile trip I took .
