With only 4,000 on my Goodyears, and a snow storm approaching, I decided to switch to some tires that wouldn't make my truck a death trap. I put on the Yokohama Geolander A/T-S.

Kept with the stock size: 275/60R20. About $1,000 out the door from Mr. Tire. I'm very happy with how they look and how the ride. Little bit more noise than the stock Goodyears, but I expected that given the more aggressive tread design. They look great on the turck.....no longer looks like it's rolling on minivan tires.
Then last night we got about 7" of snow in Southern Maryland. I was at work at 2am, and decided I needed a 20 min break to go check out all of the empty parking lots on the base. Soooooooo much fun. Truck did great (was the first time I really got to play with the 4 wheel drive). Tires were amazing in the snow. With traction control off, was able to powerslide in a very controlled manner!
So to sum it up, I'm really happy with how this truck handles in the snow, and couldn't be happier with my tires. Those Goodyears would go sideways on me with just a little bit of rain on the road. The Yokohama's are a great upgrade!

Very nice!! Tires make such a difference for the conditions they are made for. 4 contact patches between you and the road, make them quality.
