So after my sra exploded on the freeway . I went back to my aftermarket wheels and just tossed new tires on them. 35/12.5 18. General grabber x3 and I gotta say.. just on the ride home I was very pleasantly surprised. I was running nitto trail grapplers in the same size as well as toyo mts in 33" and these are wayyyy quieter. Also not as heavy as the trail grapps. I just got em on but already very pleased. Also I'll be throwing my fender flares back on . Got a bull bar ordered tonno cover and led lights I cant wait to put on..its been a while but she's finally getting some long deserved love lol.

Of course they are gunna be a little quiter look at the tread blocks compared to a trail grappler lol less aggressive equals quiter....

anyways, everyone i known to have those grabbers like them a lot so they must be a good tire, and they look great too

How many miles did you get out of your trail grapplers?
At first I was rotating every 6k miles they were wearing great . For about 30k then it seemed like everytime I'd go to the desert to shoot they were severely chipped. I had whole lugs missing all in all I got about 50k but they were bad at the end . But I also stopped rotating the last 15k or so. If it stayed on the pavement I probably would have gotten 50k and they would have still been drivable. It was mainly that they were so chipped that made me change em. Great tire just very heavy and noisy especially the last 20k lol couldn't hear myself think on the highway

Forsure the nittos are more aggressive and I really like the look . But there was definitely more tradeoffs with them than with the x3s so far. I'd go with them again tbh if I didnt like the generals in the end

Substantially. I was very surprised as these still look quite capable.. they sound like what I'd expect from maybe a ko2

For sure there are trade offs. But to be 100% honest to date I have yet to see ANY grabber MT hit 60k miles and I've seen countless nitto MT's go 80k..... not knocking the grabbers at all but don't try to bash NITTO MT's as they are some of the very best $ can buy. Hell my trail grapplers are going on 60k right now and they still have all the Stubs on em tons of life.

Again NOT bashing grabber, they have proven some of there tires (like these) to be very good, but they still cant compete all around vs nitto.

Oh no no ! By no means was I bashing nitto at all!! Lol sorry if it came off that way. I was mearly sharing my experience with them . I definitely feel like I got my money's worth with them 100% and actually it's very hard to compare anything other than toyo to them and at the end of the day they're basically the same tire. And since I've only run those two tires since going mt. I noticed that as a mt oriented tire the x3 so far has surprised me with how quiet it is as well as for a 35 is surprisingly light weight. As far as my thoughts after the life of the tire my mood can completely change especially if these end up not lasting nearly as long as the nittos I really beat my tires when I go shooting here in the Vegas deserts. And the nittos lasted great considering . Now if these fall apart nowhere near where the nittos were I'll post an update lol.

Ya those look like they got another 15k left in em. My last 15k I put on em made wore them way faster because I was rotating as frequently . As I was at first. Also I bash em hard offroad. I dont have pics of the lugs but there were plenty missing .. you can actually see in the photo there a nail in it and it never lost air or failed.. nittos are great. And if i end up not liking the x3 I'm gonna go with the ridge grapp

Didnt mean to steal your thread or bicker lol just didn't care to see people not as informed see this and cause them to Steer away from a great tire is all.
And everything I have seen and heard about the new'ish grabber lines are good! They are even sponsoring some big name race trucks so they definitely in the game for sure! And they look great on your truck man great choice [emoji106]
