I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7. I recently upgraded the stereo. When I snap on the head unit, I loose ALL features on my instrument cluster, speedometer, tachometer, pressure gauges, and the cluster shows No bus code. I even loose my windshield wipers. When I remove the head unit, the cluster works as it should along with the windshield wipers. Looking for suggestions on where to start, please.

Yup!! That's because you have to install and adapter (interface) in order for the radio to communicate on the CAN/BUS network. Some cars won't even start and run with the radio change without the adapter! (VW)
