Hi there!
I was wondering if there is anyone out there with a 4th gen Ram that has an aftermarket stereo (including head unit) and using a Edge/Diablo Pulsar Inline tuner? The tuner is controlled via the steering buttons to change the power levels. As you change the levels, the mode #'s changes as normal (numbers 1 thru 8 besides the D on the instrument cluster). It is also supposed to overwrite the audio display at the top center of the cluster and actually displays the model level as well (ie, Stock, Stock w/o MDS, Performance, Perf w/o MDS etc).
Well, its not in my truck! The numbers change by the gear selector 'D' (1 thru 8) but not the power model level in words at the audio section. I believe its because my obd communications go through the iDatalink Maestro module that retains all the factory features in the stereo (which works flawlessly by the way). It seems that the Pulsar PCM can't 'speak' to the instrument cluster via the maestro to display the power level in the audio section of the instrument cluster display. Anybody out there has the same issue? Any fix? BTW, i did change the OEM setting on the radio to disable the OBD communications (gauge, TPMS, etc) and doesn't fix the issue.
Anyways any help would be helpful.
Cheers.
