I'm planning on putting some new tires on my express in the near future, but keeping the stock 20''s i actually like the way they look even more now that i plasti dipped them :)

My question is what would you all recommend as far as tires....?

I'd like 35''s, something along the lines of open countrys, duratracs, general grabbers.....ha, i guess i'm really open to all of your suggestions!

Also before the tires happen i'll be putting on a 2.5 level aswell!

Thanks!

I'm in pretty much the same boat, I'm currently up in the air between Cooper Discoverer AT3's and Toyo Open Country AT II's...good luck with your decision and I'll be posting up pics when I finally get them...a month or two...if you haven't gotten them by then.

If you want absolutely no rubbing look for a tire that is 285 wide

I'll have to check out those coopers, I have been eyeing up the at ii's, really liking the look so far!

And no rubbing sounds pretty good to me!

thank you both!

I like that they're quiet... I was stupid and got some aggressive Coopers on it and they howled like mad, vibrated the whole truck, and reduced my MPG 2-4 points.

I went from the cooper to the duratrac and won't go back. Duratracs are more aggressive and still quieter than my coopers were.

Although I'm usually a Duratrac fan, I've got Cooper Zeon LTZ on mine and I couldn't be happier. They look good, they don't let go of the road, dry or wet, and performed amazingly well in the blizzard yesterday. I highly recommend them.

Falken Wild Peaks are another decent choice from what i have read, and are pretty resonably priced

I just put the duratracs on the truck. put less than 200 miles on them but I will say this. about 60 of those miles yesterday and today was in deep snow and ice tooling around after the storm and I couldn't be more impressed. not a hiccup at all. awesome winter tire for sure.

this is gonna be a tough choice, out of all of em so far i'm really liking the duratracs, but that price is the one thing that makes me second guess it......

No the tires are too wide to fit on stock 20's with not rubbing

Haha, will do! the best i've seen so far (but with limited searching) has been 224.36 per tire at treaddepot, but they're currently outta stock!
