Guys, my friend and I designed a beautiful bed mount spare tire rack for 4x4/offroaders. This is the ONLY spare mount that allows you to use your factory lugs or locking lugs to fasten the tire down so it can't be stolen! It bolts to the bed and it is powdercoated your choice of colors! We are offering these on here for $199 plus shipping (probably be about $10-$15.) They are built out of 1" Square tubing, with and adjustable height center mount plate so you can mount any tire/wheel combination on it you want. We make the center plates for virtually any make/model vehicle and these will hold up to a 40" tire/wheel combination.

Are you referring to a swing out style rack? We can probably build one, but I haven't done one like that yet.

That is the purpose of this tire rack, to be a better rack than that one. See, the only way you can lock your spare on that rack is with a cable wrapped around it, which can scratch your wheel all up, and most cables are easily cut with a pair of bolt cutters. Our rack uses your lugs to secure it, or locking lugs, so it is not so easily removed. The rack itself can be removed by the owner fairly easily though, depending on how many bolts you put through the bed to mount it. We suggest 4, one on each corner, but that is totally up to you.

That thing is huge! Very cool for a show truck no doubt. Or someone who doesn't constantly have a load in the bed of the truck. Nice work.

Yes, that includes the powdercoating in standard colors (i.e. regular colors like orange, white, black, etc) Metallic colors or chrome like colors will obviously cost more. As for the mounts, it simply mounts to the bed with stainless bolts. I am looking at using carriage bolts to make it even harder to get access to but we haven't gotten that part laid out yet.
