Hi all, here are some pics of my truck, Bruce. In my profile, I have some pics of my old cummins as well. Too bad he was a POS...but I loved him none the less. The engine was amazing but everything else was so badly taken care of by the past owner that I had to sell him. I now have a dodge dart..which will be traded in for something a little better...hopefully a new cummins 3500 dually pretty soon. I still have Bruce, my 1998 1500 though. 5.2 Sport with towing package. He is amazing. Also have a 1973 roadrunner.
I'd be interested in people's opinion's of how to make my truck better...if I should lift it about 2 more inches or leave it the same, and maybe how to get it to go a little faster!
It's a mud truck for fun but hauls my horses around for work! So I have a 3 horse trailer that weighs about 5000lbs and my horses in there add up to about a 7500lb total weight. Great for an old 1500!
I plan on restoring it and showing it eventually. I am re-doing the inside...cracked dash. Center console attachment is dying. Top console is not there anymore...its in my tool box. Need new headliner....which I am doing in dark cowhide. Will put tow mirrors on...new tires. Needs new tie rods...just worn out. Obviously needs paint, which will be same color. I want to take the grille guard off and get a bully guard with a winch. I don't like putting full bumper ranch hands on 1/2 tons to ease up on the weight and suspension. No muffler or any exhaust pipe past the cab. Has a CIA. Stock engine and tranny and running strong.
Thanks guys!
