Nice rig. Keep an eye on your front tires. The OEM Nexens have a reputation for not holding up to the weight (1100lbs) of the mighty cummins too well. My fronts had belt separation at 14K miles while towing my fiver.

I definitely will. Thanks for the heads up! It will be pulling our 40 foot fiver as it’s main job

You are welcome. My dually's main job is really towing our fiver as well. Hence the fact my 3500 only has 17K miles on it. Man does this monster pull a trailer! Had a duramax 3500 previously, and honestly this cummins pulls harder. Look for threads in the heavy duty section on the nexens they unfortunately have a pretty bad track record. I thought I would skate by w/o tire issues. Didnt make it, this spring out of no where the front end started shaking very badly. Belts broke in the front tires.

So now with the new tires...its six holes burning, and six wheels turning.

What tires did you replace them with?

I went with Nitto dura grapplers all the way around (6) , which is a all season on road type tire. They got favorable mentions on this forum, from other members. Plus I have had Nitto tires on several of my performance cars, with great results. And I was able to get them thru my loacl RAM dealer cheaper than two of the large tire discount houses. Using my dodge credit card, also gave me a rebate of $200 as well.
