New to Ram Trucks

Hi All!

I just purchased a used 2005 Ram 2005 Quad cab long bed with Cummins 5.9/ 6 speed manual from a good friend.
He was the original owner and it was used daily in a tree service business.
Truck has 320000 currently and has a few issues that I need to work out.
The interior is rough, especially the seats, has the rubber floor mat.
The body and frame are not bad, except for the bed.
It had a dump body in the bed, the floor is ok, but the fenders are mangled.
Found a used bed with tailgate (currently missing) for $800.
Motor was recently rebuilt and runs well.
Transmission can be hard to shift.

Hi From Canada, So a standard trans ? Hard shifting , oil change, clutch dragging?
I have seen a couple new take off boxes (1/2 T) in the city yard here.
No idea what they do with them, maybe reinstall if they take the service box off at sale/ trade time.

I suspect the shifting issue is:
Needs fluid change or
Binding on the pilot bushing/bearing or
Worn throw out bearing
When I let the clutch out at idle I can hear the thrown out bearing making some noise. Not a terrible noise, just a little noisy

A few pics
Removed the rubber floor and back seat today .
Cleaned it up some and checked for water leak in rear.
Back glass has been replaced and leaks like a waterfall. I will have to pull that and reseal soon.
