Watch out with the 8.4 uConnect updates with the NAV it has been known to brick your head set making it inoperable, Pedal Commander is a great unit, steering wheel audible controls you are going to get spoiled and can't do without.

I'm wondering if I'll even have to worry about over the air updates since the radio is from a donor truck. The VIN in the radio is not my VIN. Don't even think I can update it at all since I don't have the donor trucks VIN. I have tried with Alfa OBD to get into the radio to update the VIN but it won't connect to the radio. Says something about connecting a Blue harness???? I'm actually a former Dodge tech. Worked at a Dodge dealership for 7 years. 37 years total in the business so I know my way around these trucks pretty well. Thanks for the compliment on the truck. I really like it as does my wife. Every time I take the truck she says "Be nice to MY truck". hahahaha
