I have a 2013 RM 1500 Limited which I replaced the OEM BCM with a 2014 BCM and the OEM RF Hub with a 2016 RF Hub so I could get newly installed Front Parking Sensors to work. But, my EVIC display will no longer display TPMS tire pressures. I took the vehicle to dealership who told me I needed to change out the 2013 TMPS for 2014 TPMS as the frequency changed and this was needed for the 2014 BCM. I took to Discount Tire and they have twice installed 2014 TPMS but I still cannot get the EVIC to display the readings. Does the 2016 RF Hub have anything to do with the TPMS? I also read on the forum that some folks were having problems when NOT using OEM TPMS. Could that be the issue? Discount Tire will refund the cost of the TPMS if they don’t start working in the next 24 hours. Other than driving the truck (for how long?), anything else I can do before I go back to the dealership?

Same problem on my 2014 3500 dually. After four trips between Discount tire and the dealership and OEM replacements Im still without readings. Im waiting for one rear sensor on back order to replace the discount TPMS. Im hoping that last one will be the key. One tech out of 7 told me it wont work without all in sych. How were 4 of 6 working before then, bonkers huh?

Thanks for sharing. I was contemplating buying OEM sensors from the dealer and then having Discount Tire install (assuming they would do so) though I recognize they would not be inclined to refund my money if it did not work again.

If I recall correctly, 2013 trucks have a separate tpms module, in the driver's side of the engine bay near the wheel well. In 2014 + trucks, it's integral to the RF hub.

As such, a 2013 instrument cluster will be looking in the wrong module for the tpms data. It's been long known here amongst guys doing the premium cluster upgrades that if you use the 2013 cluster, the tpms don't work with 2014+ trucks. Or vise versa.

You'd probably need a 2014+ instrument cluster

I wonder though, if your 2013 still has the separate tpms module receiving data and putting it over the can network at the same time your rf hubs integral tpms receiver is, there could be some issues, even with a 2014+ cluster installed.
