Got the new rig loaded up and had our first camp in it. First off I was disappointed how it towed empty and come to find out the dealership didnt do a good job at setting the hitch up in the first place. The trailer brackets were off, they were to far back and to low. (Using husky centerline) the head was loose so the washers were pointless and the ball was to high my trailer set nose high. After spending some time adjusting it I got it pretty dialed in. Measurements on the fender empty are front 40 1/2in rear 42 7/8in, no bars front 40 7/8 rear 41.5, with bars front 40 7/16 rear 41 7/8 and the trailer is about 1/4-1/2 nose low. On my weigh in the trailer is loaded with full fresh tank and full tank of fuel. When I weighed my truck no trailer I was at 1/2 tank of fuel. Truck comes in at 7540 making the trailer 8240 hitch weight of 1080. I'm guessing with the difference of the 1/2 tank of fuel is about 80-100lbs making the truck truly 7640 ish and trailer 8140 and hitch weight closer to the 1k mark. Anyways loaded unadjusted properly drives much better little bouncy but I think that is just the nature of the beast.
