Well, not quite as good - it calculated out to 20 mpg even. Computer is off quite a bit. But 20 or more at this point I’m pretty good with.

I have a 21 Laramie Sport with 50K on it that I get 16/17 overall, but I have to get on the interstate to get to town. On a recent trip, I set cruise to 70 on a Loooooong bridge over swamp and got 26.7 for 22 miles. Ran it up to 80 after bridge and got 18.5 the rest of the way. Only stopped once for gas. SWLA to Tampa.

My 5.7 gets 13 towing a 32 foot camper and around 20 back and forth.

I may be wrong - it's happened occasionally  - if you're towing it behind a RAM 1500 with a 5.7 Hemi I'm going to guess you are either right at your max towing limit, or you passed it a bit ago. Unless that 32-foot trailer is completely empty, and you have a regular cab LB with a tow package.

I think the biggest disparity/disappointment comes from "highway" driving. There is a HUGE difference between driving 45-50 and 75-80. At 45-50 (2-lane state highways) I can almost meet EPA figures even with my oversized, heavy tires and a 5" lift.

My 1500 is rated to tow 11,610. Not too many 32' campers weigh that...

Mind you, I would not want to pull that much. 7-8k feels about right in the hills of VT.

as of September 1,
You have been running on Winter Blend Corn Squeezins, ( ethanol )
Don't be surprised if your miles dropped as much as 3 MPG, since August.
Even California switched over in October.
