Hello all,

I have two wiggle / shimmy’s

2018 mega cab 6000 miles on it..

1. After I put the Thuren level and rear track bar the truck shimmy/wiggles at slow speeds and hitting small bumps or cracks in the ground??
2. This was before the level and persists after at 76ish the truck will shimmy/ wiggle it comes and goes, new wheels new tires did not fix it.. new king shocks did not fix it, new drive shaft didn’t fix it.. thoughts??

And thank you for the input!!

Weak sway bar links? Bad wheel balance? Ball joints might be weak? All possible things I’ve seen as a mechanic.

Email thuren. They may be able to point you right direction also. Their customer service is outstanding. They helped me with my issue and sent replacement parts.

If it wasn’t for the pre existing issue I would say you just need to get used to the way it handles with the leveling kit. 6000 miles should mean you don’t have any issues. But after what my ex went through with a brand new Honda and it didn’t even have 200 miles on it, I can’t say that any more. Lol

Also, with only 6000 miles on it the dealership should be able to look at it and take care of anything and it should be covered under warranty unless they didn’t do the leveling kit

Dealership that’s funny I took it too two dealerships they replaced tires, wheels, shocks, drive shaft.. I got tired of my trucking being there for months ....

I don’t think new shocks and springs would make this thing wiggle .. I wonder if it’s the. We rear track bar

Check the rear bar for any play. Have somebody shake the truck while you’re under it. And won’t hurt to put a tq wrench in it and verify tq. Impact wrench is not a tq wrench. I had my front thuren bar I staled by shop. They used impact and it was popping. I used a tq wrench and tq’d it properly and pop went away immediately. Worth a shot
