Ok all, I just joined this forum. I bought a 2006 3/4 ton with the 5.7. It came with an K and N intake system and now I want to change the exhaust. After exhaust I plan to buy a Trinity tuner. I do drive the truck almost daily and I pull a gooseneck horse trailer on multiple weekends. My question is it worth messing with headers or do a cat back system with changing the y pipe? Thanks for your help!

I'd do the catback and open up the Y pipe

I like the sound of headers, have shorty's.....cat backs sound good also but more air with headers.

I've done to many mods to a truck the pulls trailers. Lol

Any exhaust upgrade and tuner will be good, just don't waste your money on a TBS....throttle body spacer.

It be a good time to replace cats to avoid P0420 code down the road.

If budget allows it is always suggest to go with headers, y-pipe, and catback on these Hemi's. The y pipe is very restrictive.

Let us know if we can help you out.

Thanks guys! Nick can you send me some pricing on different options that you have available for my truck please. I'm open to installing headers if it'll help out with power and of course a little better sound
