Newbie questions to Flashing UAQ Software

Can I safely update my current 34.2.0 UAQ version to newest and will I loose my maps if I do? Will the splash screen still show Ram. Also whats the steps and do you have to be in the truck while it updates?Whats the newest version and I included pictures of radio current version ect. Army Veteran newbie to flashing radio firmware. Its a retrofit so can’t use my VIN to update or OTA. Thanks for any help in advance.

Are you trying to fix a problem? If not just leave it as it is.
As with any firmware flash there is always a risk of failure which could render the hardware inoperable.
You shouldn't loose any of the current features of the radio like maps. Given it's a UAQ use AndroidAuto/CarPlay for any mapping, it's the most current map data and has real time information.

Thanks and yes I am. Also there is a TSB for that 40.1 that addresses some other issues. Its updated to latest now.
