Hello all, I'm Josh, A little about me is that I'm 29 from a small town in Northern Maine. But after years of chasing wind (wind turbine installations) I settled down in Lafayette Indiana with my wife who I happened to meet while she was working EMS on a project in rural indiana. Well more about the truck. One day in the fall of 2010 I was officially rained out for the first time in months working 7 days a week in southern Minnesota. I was tired of my 2009 Chevy silverado 2500hd with the 6.0 and small gas tank. It just wasn't doing anything for me. So I took a drive by a smaller dealer in Owatonna, Minnesota on my way back to the hotel room. I fell in love with what I considered the best truck they had on the lot. A 2010 1500 CC sport that was completely loaded. It wasn't until much later that I realized I bought right. 3.92 rear end. Tow mirror, quad headlights. The truck then grew to be a part of my family. When I would come back home for my 3 day home rotation the kids had dubbed the truck "Walter" well the name has stuck and is now my license plate. Well Walter and I have traveled from Wichita to Scranton. From Houghton, Mi to Texas. And every state in between working different projects. He's been on wind projects, in iron mine pits in the U.P with an 8' buggy whip and flashing strobe attached covered in ore. He's been covered in coal dust from boilers. Yet 78,000 miles later I can still honestly wash that truck and still be damn proud of the way it looks. Walter so far had zero problems. 22 hour road trips. Not and issue. It is sad to say that now my leather has given up the ghost on the driver side where I sit. But I've treated Walter right over time. Got him the 14" dod14 mufflex, diablo sport trinity, K&N (just filter for now gotta justify a S&B or Vararam to the mrs.) now that I'm working close to home and per zdiem can't hide my purchases. And always done my timely Mobile 1 oil changes. I do regret not knowing about the catch can until recently. But it's been a great truck. I look forward to keeping him around. Or at least until I can hand this one down to my "kiddo" and get me one with air ride and 8speed.
