Hello all. I am proud to say as of yesterday I'm the proud owner of my first Ram 2016 1500 Sport 4x4 crew cab granite crystal 5.7 hemi. Curious if Ram has addressed the uca problem that existed with past year models due to installation of a leveling kit. I'm looking forward to leveling mine just want to know if I will be needing to replace oem upper control arms also.

Congrats and welcome to the forum! A lot of guy, including myself, are replacing them with Mevotech's. One reason being that since you're already working in there, go ahead and replace them. Second reason is the investment isn't all that much... right under $100 from Rockauto. Do they NEED replaced, probably not.... but why not for an extra $100?

Welcome aboard. And do like Drummin said. They aren't to expensive. And they are worth the extra peace of mind.

If you're going to use a leveling kit, then yes. Change them out while you're in there working. If you use the Bilstein 5100 shocks, then no, you don't need to. But, you still can for peace of mind.
