How well do they perform in snow?

So, I guess I can include a review of the tire store as well. So far, Discount Tire who had the best price other than one other store, has been kind of dismal.

I called Tuesday of last week (September 27) to order the tires, which are listed on the website. I was told 3 days so I scheduled an appointment for yesterday, which was Monday October 3.

Was told 3 days max for the tires to arrive. Tires have still not arrived, I paid a deposit down when I ordered.

I believe they failed to order the tires and are trying to save face by claiming they are not sure. They left a warehouse in Georgia, arrived in Kentucky on Friday. Supposedly.

Anyway hopefully they show today, I have a limited amount of days home from work before I return to the water.

This is really ******* me off.

I have ordered 2 sets of tires through them and both times was less than 2 days to my house. My guess is someone fudged up

My truck is 6'' lifted with 37'' G2. Absolutely happy with them. Yes, really quiet on a pavement and not bad for the ice and snow also. Just ordered Nitto EXO Grappler to try them in winter time

Did you get the 37x12.5? I'm interested in getting those. My dad like his 295/70/18 on his 2500.

In and on. Took the interstate home. Ran up to 80 mph and these tires are smooth and for the tread very quiet. Not much louder than the factory tires. Radio/exhaust drone that out.

Damn those look good! The Terra Grapplers I had on my Tundra wore pretty terribly even though I rotated them with every oil change. I must've just gotten a bad set if y'all are able to crank out over 80k with no issues.

These are the "new" G2. Supposed to wear great. Hopefully I have no issues.

Are these any good in the snow?

How well do they perform in snow?

since nobody else is answering you, take a look at the siping on these tires photos and compare them to AT's that have the snow rating on them. My guess is these aren't as effective in snow/ice as an actual snow rated AT. Having said that, depending on how bad your winters are where you live that may be a non-issue. It is where I am. I've gotten away with the odd winter without snow rated, but I definitely noticed in winters when I had snow rated AT's on.

Had them installed new last winter, so they run very good. We had a lot of snow. Of course you got to be careful on ice ) this winter will try EXO Grappler...will see which one runs better

I'm not trying to steal this thread but I just want to make sure that what I'm about to do will work. I'm going to have the Bilsteins installed on the front set at 2.1". No rear coil spacers. I want to run 295/60/20 Nitto G2's on my stock wheels. Does anyone see a problem with this setup?
