Nitto Trail Grapplers, Terra Grapplers, or Cooper Zeon LTZ?

Hey I was just looking for some input on some tires, which do you think would be best for some off-road, snow, just general Canadian weather.

Also would 295/60R20 tires fit on my 2011 1500 crew cab with the stock 20's

I'd rather not get a leveling kit because I do use 4x4 quite often and don't want vibrations; or would I be safe with a 2" spacer in the front?

Trails...those are the 3 I was looking at and settled on the Trails. They're quite and look great. And you won't have any issues with vibrations after a level. I cranked my t-bars (04) and I've had no issues.

Welcome to RF as well. Post up in the Intro section and tell everyone a little bit about yourself.

Welcome...I can't give a decision on which tire...But I will say I have the Swim LTZ's and I love them...snow ice rain dry whatever it might be...I love them...The look of them can't be beat either for what they are...I'm in the running for new tires and I believe I'm staying with them just a bit larger to fit the 2" Level a bit better :)

I have the coopers as well, but also only have dry and rain here in Texas. So I can't say anything for snow.

I love my trails but only run them in the summer. I ran Cooper STT in the winter with great results, alot more siping in the tread and dig good in the deep snow and slush.

With a 295/60r20 tire, you might want a spacer or Bilsteins 5100s up front. They might barely fit with a stock setup but will be stuffed in the wheel wells. If you DO go offroad, any flexing may cause the tires to rub

Welcome to the forum. :) I run the Terras and they have been very good tires. I also have a leveling kit and haven't experienced any vibrations. Seems like it was just a hit and miss thing, some trucks got it, others didn't. It happened with the 2.5" kits moreso than the 2" kits.

welcome to Ram Forum. Personally out of those choices i would get the trail grapplers due to looks. Don't know how they would last though

Welcome to RF. I ran 295/65-20 Trail Grapplers with a 2" level kit for a few months and had no vibrations. Not sure how the trails hold up to winter weather, but they are great for general off roading (sand, mud, etc.).

I dont think you would be dissapointed with either tire. I have the zeons and they have performed great in all weather types. they handle the snow very well.

Thanks for the input, I'm glad I joined this forum seems like a bunch of knowledgeable guys.
I love the looks of the trails but with the sidewall lugs I'm worried I'll be getting rubbing with the 295's. How well are the trails on the highway? much noise?

I think now it's between the Cooper Zeon LTZ's and the Nitto Trail Grapplers.

What wheels do you have? The chrome clads like mine or the painted wheels? Mine are 20x9, but i have been told that the painted ones are 20x8 allowing a little be more clearance

I had slight rubbing on the sway bar at full lock but no rubbing on the upper control arm. I was running the stock 20x9 wheels.

I forget I have mud tires when running my Trail Graps. They are surprising quiet and look great (to me) lol

Should I go with the 295/55R20 or 295/60R20 in Trail Grapplers? the 32.91" is wider then the 34.45" by 0.4"

I will be going with a 2" level from HBS
