I have figured out how to activate the Stop/Start feature. Turn off the climate control system. Which means in this country, and many other areas around the world, that the stop/start can at best be used about 2 months out of the year. Any claim to fuel savings from from the manufacturer for this system is bogus.

it’s not cheating if the teacher publishes the answer key. Where VW screwed up was changing the behavior when it detected it was taking a test. Can’t blame teachers for teaching to the test, nor automobile manufacturers for designing to the test. Avoid the gimmick while you can.

Well, there a magical thing that comes with vehicles full of great information. It’s usually located in the glove box. It will require effort, one will have to search for the answer.
