Finally got some time this afternoon to get rid of all the badges and dealer sticker. I just used some fishing line to get them off initially. After that, heated up the 3M and used the pulling method shown on the video here (worked perfect). Finally, heated up what was left, and used Goof Off and wiped away. All in all, took about 2 hours after getting the hang of it. Installing my AFE CAI this week, and then ordering my lift in about a month. She's coming along...:party36:

Thanks all. I plan on blacking out the front and rear badges. WhiteExpress, if you want them, PM me and we can workout shipping. I didn't have any plans for them anyways. I still need to put a few coats of wax on it and buff it out. When I was washing it, I could still see "ghosts" of the badges. Other than that, it looks 100% better in my oponion.

maybe u could paint the grill and tailgate ramheads the same color as the truck instead of black. That'd look real good. Very nice truck btw.

I don't care about the oem badges that much but I absolutely hate, hate, hate that a dealer thinks it's appropriate to put his dumb badge in their without running it by the buyer first. I make them remove them before I take delivery of a new or used vehicle. when I bought my truck new it still didn't have a dealer badge on it. but when it went through detailing as I was doing the paperwork, they stuck one on there after i asked the salesman to make sure they didn't. I walked back in to the finance lady and told her we needed to work out a way for them to pay me for advertising space on my vehicle or they needed to remove it. I had 3 days to change my mind on the vehicle so if they buggered up the clear coat removing it, I was going to turn it back in. they removed it.

I know I'm probably nitpicky or obsessive but that just really bothers me for some reason.

to the OP. your truck looks great. clean and lean.
