no overdrive

I had no overdrive this morning and then the tach blipped and everything seemed to be working properly. The tps was replaced with a used one and sometimes the alt acts up. I'm thinking its electrical.

If anybody has had this issue before, I'd like to hear about it, not in the mood to build a tranny in -20.

Start with pulling codes and checking fluid level and condition

I have had 4 Gen 2 Rams with the 5.9L V8. Every single one of them has had no overdrive when the temps dropped below zero. Had them all checked out by different shops and different dealerships and none were able to determine why. Even the co-workers I had at my last job that had Gen 2 Rams with the same transmission complained about no OD in sub-zero temps.

Over the years, just chalked it up as normal...
