No power steering at idle

This past summer i replaced the p/s pump and gearbox when it went out. Now i have a new problem, at cold start it has some power steering, then after it warms up i don't have any power steering at all but if i rev it it works perfectly. Anybody have any idea what it could be?

Checked your fluid level and "burped" the system, correct?

filled it up about 3/4 way turned wheel full lock both ways for about 5 minutes then filled it up and did it full lock for about 3 minutes when we first put it in. it worked fine until last night

Check make sure belts still routed right, and check fluid level again. Can't hurt to double check.

what type of fluid did you use? sounds like the pump might be bad.

I've triple checked it and everything looks good. I asked the guy at advance where i bought it and he said it could be an air pocket in the system
