No reverse lights?

My 03 ram quad cab does not have reverse lights. I don't have power to the switch on the tranny (5 speed manual) and the fuse is good. This truck has had taillights replaced under warranty and the trailer light wiring had problems also. Any ideas on this problem?

The manual shows that as a straight shot from the fuse to the switch on the trans. You should be able to check the wire, but likely the problem is in the IPM. You could try putting a jumper in it.

try taking the fuse out and disconnect the switch on the tranny and use a multimeter do a continuity test to check the wire
