I have a 2015 Laramie Longhorn. I have not had any issues until now. I was at work clocked out and the truck would not start, wouldn’t even try to turn over. The battery , lights , radio all had a very strong signal. I got a jump and it started. no check engine light or nothing. I took it to a dealer they are so behind it will be a month for them to check it out. A week later it does it again. Have anyone had this problem?

What do you mean by battery lights radio all had a very strong signal? Once it was jumped? Could very well be the battery. Take it over to AAA or pep-boys / autozone and have them throw a battery analyzer on. Should give some instant feedback on what the issue is (battery or electrical system)

check your battery clamps... sounds like it could be a loose contact point

My 14 did the same thing. 99.9% it's the battery. Go have someone do a cold crank test in it. Mine had 7 CCA yes 7.

I would say check contact points as well. In my experience, when these batteries go out, there is no warning. Started this morning just fine, this afternoon it doesn't. But, there is no jumping it and then it works for a week and then goes out again. Im assuming it's the original battery, so no surprise if it is indeed toast, but your symptoms point elsewhere based on what I have experienced.

Check both ends of the battery cables.

Remember the most strain on a battery happens during turn over so even an almost totally depleted battery will work with a jump. Loose cables should be pretty obvious if you opened the hood and attached jumper cables. The real question is AFTER you got the jump and get it started you drove home, when you went to start it again ( the next day for example) did it start or was it dead again?

I got the jump went home next day it started. I drove it for a week no warning, no sounds. It did it again. I took it to O’reileys they tested the battery, alternator every test they perform and everything checked out good.

If it were me, I'd carry a multi-meter and a jump pack with me. The next time it doesn't start, check voltage at the battery, the starter, and ignition before doing anything. That'll tell you where the problem is. I'd strongly suspect the cable going to the starter and/or connection if all other electronics are working and battery voltage is good, especially if you've had the battery load tested recently.

As of now the vehicle is at the dealer. I will let you know what happens later.
