Noisy tq converter

I think I am experiencing the Star case tq converter issue. Noisy when between 1500-1800 rpm in 5th gear lugging around. The truck is a 2011 quad cab 1500 hemi with 22,000miles. Will this be covered under the 5y/100,000 mile powertrain warranty? I have never had to do any type of warranty work before. (mainly because all my vehicles have been old crap I have fixed myself)
