The NV5600 utilizes a cast iron case and an aluminum bellhousing. You will also see NVG embossed on the side of the cast iron case. The G56 uses an all-aluminum case construction.

thanks fast also if going on 5.9 cummins would need an adapter plate instead of the bell housing if i remember correctly from previous research

From the last time I performed a swap like yours I needed the transmission obviously, bellhousing adapter, starter, flywheel, clutch assembly, pressure plate, flywheel and the hydraulics for the clutch.
