So I just had tires swapped, got into the truck and no sound? Played with the mute, played with the Android, even the radio lost sound. It worked fine driving there...but it had to be coincidence as they did tires and alignment, but nothing connected to the truck. All the functions worked - Android auto showed the music was playing, navigation still worked, radio still worked; just no sound.
Got home, checked fuses (all good)...that under dash fuse panel is wonderful...
I popped the battery terminal off, and left it for a minute or so...reconnect, and I have sound and most of the user settings are gone. And I only had "Hi" and "Lo" on the climate control even in manual.
So shut the truck off, restart and things start acting normal, except the user settings. I made my way through those and I now have themes, those were not even presented before? My system was always the default red theme (that is now one of the themes).
After some fidling, things are more less back to normal. Is this a common occurance? Any other way to reboot that system short the battery route?
