We have spied both a raccoon and a groundhog over the past couple of months and so has my neighbor. I guess what surprises me if it was either of these larger animals that there is zero damage/scratches to anything other than the plastic?

I need to go borrow a 22 LR from my father. I currently only have two AR-15’s and several handguns in my cabinet, none of which are ideal for varmint disposal LOL.

That's what I thought as well. Not sure a big, ground-based animal could/would get up there without leaving any other sign.

Dang, you mean on top of the Hemi tick, tailgate issues and AutoPark, I now have to worry about squirrels eating my Ram? I should've never sold my Ranger...

Seriously, though, OP, sorry that happened...I'd be livid if I saw that! I'm fortunate to park in my garage overnight, but now I'm thinking I should watch my truck more often here at work. We've got a lots of wooded acreage on the west side of DFW Airport (surprisingly enough)!

I had rabbits eat one of my tires once. Not even joking

All the more reason for me to move up the detached garage project. [emoji3] We have a two car side entry garage attached to our home but the house was built in 1985 so the garage doors and the garage itself are too small for my truck. I mean I could probably shoehorn it in with the side mirrors folded if I moved stuff out of my garage but it’s not worth the trouble on a daily basis.

I’m also not sure if it’s happening at home or at work now that you mention it. We have been planning to install a detached garage unit in our back yard with twin 10x10 doors, and have been saving for this project steadily for the past year. It’s a major build project that is phase one of a major backyard transformation project overall. Hopefully we can break ground in the spring season about six months out from now, so by next summer my truck will be safely ensconced in a garage. [emoji2]

Sounds like a plan...while my garage (and its attached house) is newer than yours, it's still a tight fit with my Reb and the wife's Cayenne S. It's so much so, I'm thinking about changing out the window next to my truck's parking spot to a bay window so I can open my door more easily!

Good luck on the project; when you start, be sure to get a build thread going here...we'll be really interested to see how it goes. I'm sure I'll even be a little envious!

I didnt measure my truck *before* I bought it, turns out the shark fin wont make it through my garage door. I believe I have plenty of width (thats what she said!) but I would need to make the door opening taller to get the truck in. And Im seriously considering doing so, since trying to detail such a large vehicle in and out of bad weather is a PITA outside.

That's from squirrels. I have had them chew through deer feeders and all sorts of things here at the house. They even chewed through the top of our koi pond skimmer box. No rhyme or reason to it other than maybe just tooth maintenance. Squirrels are like rabbits, their teeth never stop growing so they have to chew things to maintain them.

Lol. Good thing is at least it’s a cheap piece that is easy to replace. But will have to find a way to stop them. OP will start driving down the road and there will be a clan of squirrels hanging on for the ride.

I have an uncle who used to get possums around his garage. Ugly SOBs.

You could always just let most of the air out of your tires every time you pull in and refill each time you back out. Just install air pump to the exterior of your garage to make it quicker to fill them back up. :anitoof:

Maybe it'd be easier to switch to the hockey puck antenna (or at least the housing)?

Turkeys like rims too... This one was pecking at my rims when we got back to the boat launch from goose hunting... 2719e46052d99078875137310eb8d135.jpg

Uh...well it's too bad you weren't turkey hunting instead, cause he'd be a goner with you walking rifle in hand. :laughing1:

In my world, I would suspect my dog.
