I'm considering swapping my chrome projectors to the black housing ones. I've read various comments about some leaking water or hazing over. But I don't recall any specific brands to stay away from. I'd love to find actual OE Ram lights but I also don't want to spend a ton just for black housings.

So which aftermarket (OE style) projectors have you had good luck with? And which ones to stay away from? I wouldn't hate the switchback running light but not specifically worried about it either.

Bought TYC factory style projectors for mine. No issues and better cutoff than the originals.

Ive had chrome TYC projectors for a few years now with zero issue as far as water ingress. For reference, I live on the Texas gulf coast and we average nearly 5 feet of rain per year.

My TYCs from RetroShop should be arriving today. But everyone has said they’re great for an original replacement. Had a few extras added to mine so I can’t wait to put them in.

I did have some condensation issues with my first set of TYC projectors. They are guaranteed for life and I got a replacement set without any issues at all.
