Just picked up an '07 2500 MegaCab with the 5.9l, it has aftermarket wheels on it but I prefer OEM. Some of these newer 18" OEM wheels look great and are reasonably priced. Looks like width is the same between 2007 and 2018 at 8", but I will increase from 17" to 18". I am not into the offset look, nor lowpro tires on larger trucks too much. Not too much gap, not too little, I like a clean look and comfort. I will be towing a boat a lot, if that matters much other than the obvious load rating.

Is there any obvious known issues with going from 17 to 18" on these Rams? Or using newer models on older trucks? I assume the tire pressure sensors wont work, but thats not a concern of mine.

I came from a 2004 Dakota that some drunk **** totaled in front of my house recently. Oh and yes I did look at the threads up top that talk about this subject, but my simple brain got confused pretty quickly.

Thanks for your expertise.

You won't have any issues going to 18" wheels.

Ended up having issues with lug size. Is there any issues with using the OEM lugs (9/16-18) on 2017 OEM wheels as far as diameter and the tapering is concerned?

I overlooked thread size/count, only focused on lug pattern.
