Been trying to find some pics of 2wd 2nd gens with the factory 17" off road rims. So far I've only been able to find one pic and I really like the way they look and have been considering getting rid of my 20's in favor of these 17's

Would give me less rotating mass and tires would be cheaper. Which I know will be a good thing when I get the 4:10's in there lol

So if you've got any pics post em up!! Or try and talk me into keeping the 20's lol

Here's the one pic I have and my truck should look very similar after my drop is done

Or I've also thought about the ss/t rims but personally I kind like the off road style now.

Honestly man I think I like the 20's better. Im not usually one to say keep 20's but lowered trucks need big rims! Lol. I think a set of 4th gen chrome clad 20's, the 5 spoke ones, would look sick on your 98. If I still had my old set ida sold em to ya haha.

Ya I agree but I dont like when the tires start looking more like rubber bands which im afraid they might once I get smaller tires to fit the drop.

Plus I like the idea of the cheaper tires for the 17's lol and.... I wanna go fast!! :D so 17's will help with that.

I'm still kinda torn though since there are very few rims in a 17 that I like.

17s will flex better on the track when you run drag radials. :naughty:

I would give my 20s up in a heartbeat for offroads or ss/t's with 33s

Yup but I wouldn't be getting any drag radials anytime soon. Closest track to me is a 3 hour drive one way so probably won't make more than 2 trips a summer (if I'm lucky) didn't make it at all last summer. It rained every time me and my buddy tried to go.

The off roads would definitely suit your truck good.

I think 20s fit the Gen II really well.

I do like how the Offroads look as well.

I like the 20's but for what I use my truck for they just don't work and 400 for each tire sucks. But I did find this site. They have the offroads and the ss/t's for under 150 each

does anyone know if the center caps from my 16s work in the ss/t or offroad wheels?
