Bull dogs of all shape and sizes are dear to me. I use to have several Pits and they are really special. I live out in the sticks and when the kids were small, I had one that was part of the family. He would escort the kids everywhere they went when playing outside. They would ride him like a horse. I miss the old dog..

some people even make a console and just buckle it into the center spot so they can use it as a arm rest/cup holder.

Yeah...cup holder. Something a 70s-designed truck doesn't have. :nono:

I just put my coffee mug next to me on the seat since it only has a couple ounces of milk in it in the morning.
I get coffee at work. :D

My ash tray is damaged, I haven't really looed at it but it is floppy with a corner broken, I could easily put a strap across the front to hold it in place and then use that as a mounting bracket. Anyway something like that...

Nice old truck. I don't know what it's worth down there but here it would be north of 10K.

Cup holders lol, back in my day for these year trucks they were clip on things that went in/on the side window track/sill, don't know if they still make them though. Try looking in the marine end of things there might be an opt there.

That was along the lines I was thinking, something with a swivel. The price here in South Central Virginia varies a lot. I looked at a bunch of gas trucks both 4x4 and RWD with prices ranging from $1000 to $8000. Strangely condition doesn't always reflect price. It is strictly what the owner thinks the market will bare. Being diesel almost doubles the price of a similar gas rig.

This is great, I'm getting all kinds of ideas now.

I haven't tried it in a while but I remember we used to use the seat belt buckle as a bottle opener.

Put new (235/70-16) tires on it along with a new tail pipe, actually my original 03 hemi tail pipe, we modified a little. It came out great. Flat black aluminum tool box from Tractor Supply. Center carrier bearing. Took it in for alignment this morning and things turned south. The passenger upper ball joint is trashed. This is a screw in ball joint and apparently at some time in the past the threads were stripped and a ball joint was welded in no doubting trashing that ball joint. There are I've found two sub models to the 89' D250 one standard and another with heavier axles which parts are harder to find. Of course mine is the heavier one. For a small ransom I can get a UCA from the dealer along with the bushings and ball joints. Dealer couldn't get the lower ball joint, but I could get it from a local suppler. Should have all the parts together by Saturday. Drives good even with the bad ball joint. Fueled it up and looks like I'm getting 21mpg, does that sound about right?
Thanks,

Yup. 21 is good for a mostly bone stock 12v. If modded and driven properly you can get nearly 30 out of a 2WD.
