offset help!

New to this so bare with me...I have a 2012 1500 ST- I just got a Skyjacker 4inch lift kit to put on and im looking at 35 Nitto trail grapplers or 35 Toyo open country...looking at a 20x9 rim- Im wondering about the offset.. I got bushwacker fender flares and id like the tires to stick out a bit.. suggestions/pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Go with a -12 offset for it to stick out pretty far. Stock offset is +19

Imo -24 offset looks the best. I think I have a down the side pic in my album.

If they are the pocket style, you will need a 20x10 wheel with -12 offset. That will put you right at flush and maybe just a little wider than the flare with those tires. -24mm offset like Black2014 has would have you sticking out .5'' more, which would look good imo. Any 20x9 wheel is going to be tucked under.

With flares, if you want them to stick out still, go with -12 or -24 offset. I think its hard to find a 20x9 in -24 offset though. I'm going with 20x10 and -24.

exactly! a 20x10 with -12 35x12.50 will put the tire just inside of flare coverage. A 20x10 -24 will put your tread flush or just outside. (depending on manufacture of tire)

I run a 315/60 (measures a true 35/12.50) Toyo OC MT. on a 20x10 -12 The Pocket flare is 2 1/2 of coverage. With that set up the flare gives me a bit more coverage than flush.

Wow, this is what I'm looking for because I'm in the process on getting some wheels, so will the also be for the 2500? I don't have it yet but I have order some oem flares.

Possibly check some online tire sites and put in your truck and see what kind of wheels it recommends for you and what the offsets of them are, that should let you know within a couple mm
