2019 Ram 1500 truck, I change my oil every 3000 miles. The computer tells me "need to change oil even though I just changed it. Early oil change is a cheap way to make the engine last forever. There has to be some way dealerships reset the clock. I hope it does nor require a computer interface to do it ! I got 230K out of my last 2003 truck before it was hit and dented a fender and wracked the hood a little. Insurance declared it a total even though it tracked straight without touching the steering wheel. I loved my shortbed 03. The 2019 is a crew cab = longer wheelbase & took some time to get used to backing it up. I don't like it, but I'm stuck with it. Plus the computer Lies- How do I tell the computer it is WRONG !

You can reset it through the EVIC, ignition on without the engine running.
If there is no option in the EVIC, I think it's turn the ignition on without the engine running and press the accelerator to the floor 3 times completely then turn the ignition off.
If all else fails the instructions on how to reset the oil life monitor is in the owners manual.
I don't think there's a way to turn the monitor off without getting the ECM tuned.

Secondary Method Of Resetting Engine Oil Life
1. Without pressing the brake pedal, push the ENGINE
START/STOP button and place the ignition to the

2. Fully press the accelerator pedal, slowly, three times
within ten seconds.
3. Without pushing the brake pedal, push the ENGINE

NOTE:
If the indicator message illuminates when you start the
