I use my 3 ton floor jack and lift from the front cross member to get about 3-4” extra or so, then jack stands under the frame behind the front tires. There’s 3 points if contact without having to drive up on to ramps. But to each their own, and very interesting idea on the DIY ramps.

You got pics of them?
Similar to these. Im at the beach for NYE, so no first hand pics...Mine are 48” long and 4 levels, slanted edges. The boards are glued and screwed. If you can crush these, youd be the first! I store them vertical bottom to bottom on a homemade skateboard.

rhino ramps are great. but have to be used on concrete or asphalt. can't use on hard dirt. area doesn't have to be perfectly level, 85-95 degrees from level should be fine. i put truck in 4wd low when using ramps. i have 4 ramps.
and use emergency brake before i put in park. i have had truck on them for days
those things are rock solid but w that stated a free standing air conditioned concrete garage w bent pak lift is safer

40 bucks vs 40,000 bucks which ever fits your budget

40 buck for moi

I broke a Rhino ramp with a ZJ, much lighter, but it was a buddy’s garage that had some puzzle piece cushioned floor.
I also have a great set of rubber wheel chocks I use. The missus saw me under the truck with bricks behind the tires. She is a Indusrial Safety engineer...I was scolded by the safety lady and she bought me chocks

I use rhino ramps as well...this truck is by far the easier to change oil and filter. Even can fill the oil filter up and not get a spill...though I don't like oil draining on the steering unit but a spray of brake cleaner cleans it.

Has anyone ever used that Eastwood wrench?

I don't think it will work. Not enough volume and the area is very cramp.

Glad to pass along, read about the plastic bag trick here as well.

I use the Wix XP filter, slightly smaller than mopar, a quart sized zip lock easily fits over it.

Wix XP as well and the plastic bag is indeed a good idea as long as the filter isn't too tight.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could remove the Mopar filter by hand after the initial oil change done by the dealer. For both changes I have done I have only hand tightened the filter. Once you make some room (ramps, jack or lift kit) it is pretty easy to get a solid grip on the filter.
