inspect those, let us know if there is any surface rust. Member hemi395 had an issue with rp filters a couple pages ago, but I am pretty sure he didnt get them direct from rp. We dont know if manu issue or storage issue aliong the line. Read back a couple posts.

Think I might give one to my dad for Christmas LOL. We have both been running 20-500s for the last couple years now.

Just turn it around and ask her why she has 20 pairs of shoes or 10 purses. You can only use one at a time right???

20-820s have been gone a while. 5 oil filters is going to last me 5 years. Good investment LOL

I have filters coming from Summit and RP!

I remember. I just don't drive my truck much. So I thought for sure they were going to figure out their supply issue by the time I needed another filter.

I think summit ordered a pallet and saw how fast they were selling, maybe even knew they wouldnt able to get more, and jacked up the price. I have no proof, but it makes sense. I bet they dont want to run out and dont mind making a large profit on them. I dont fault them, it is supply and demand is it not? I bet if they didnt jack the price, they would be long out of stock. Just a feeling though.

Dare I say the issue with that filter still exists. Leaves me to believe the only reason is supply and demand. Too much demand for that popular size. Buying multiples is still a good idea, but now of course we have the other potential issue. The argument against is frams new amsoil ea clone, too bad they didnt put 8 holes damnit. We wouldnt even have to say RP again, lol.
