Just had my first oil change, vehicle 2025 RAM Limited night Edition. My oil level from day one always showed 3/4 full. No issue, running perfectly. I noted after oil change at dealer the oil level gauge showed at the max level. Within a week gauge now showing 3/4 again. I do not see oil leakage in my garage or driveway, see no sign of oil leakage underneath my RAM. Engine running fine, no dashboard warning lights. I mentioned this issue to salesman at my dealer and they had no answers. Anyone else finding this issue?

It the vehicle parked on a flat level surface regularly?
The sensor used is an ultrasonic type similar to what's used in DEF tanks on diesel vehicles.

It just reset itself and is now reading the correct level. It should be fine

New engines can use some oil as the rings are not set fully .

Give it some time to break-in , say 5000 miles .

Then the oil consumption should drop.

Garage is flat and level, still shows 3/4. Spoke with RAM tech support and given a case # for my dealer to recheck. Appreciate all the replies.
