1994 2WD 1500 with 5.9. Is it possible to remove the oil pan without having to raise the engine?

You will have to raise the engine slightly to get the oil pan out on a 2WD model. Remove the transmission braces and the starter along with the trans dust shield and raise the engine 2-3 inches and the pan will come out.

Its really pretty simple. You'll have the pan off in no time at all. While you have the pan off might as well replace the rear main seal.
