6.7 cummins
Good morning
Yesterday I changed my oil and filter in my 6.7 liter cummins. When I started the truck to inspect for leaks my oil pressure never came up. I have two factory gauges, the one in the dash and a factory digital gauge, both read 0 psi. Has anybody delt with this problem?

How long did you let it run for? Did you check the dipstick to make sure you put the oil in the right place? Have you taken the new filter off again to see if any oil got to it, and it may be plugged inside?

I also hope u filled the filter with oil during install. Otherwise the oil pump has to fill the filter before pushing it throughout the engine.

Check oil level and filter. What brand of filter?

Lol, on filling the filter. While I agree with you it is better to fill the filter, I had a John Deere skid steer that recommended filling the filter in the manual prior to installation, but I always had a lot of trouble turning the machine upside down so I could keep the filter full, and get it screwed into place at the same time...
